Wednesday May 21, 2008: All for Africa's grant to charity: water is for the construction, training, and maintenance of 10 freshwater wells in the Republic of Malawi.

A portion of the grant will also support charity: water's operational costs and educational & awareness activities. The $25,000 grant represents All for Africa's first grant to New York based charity: water. charity: water has currently funded the construction of over 60 wells in Malawi. The freshwater wells are expected to commence shortly with full operation anticipated by the end of 2008.
